We envisioned the Black + Posh brand to be luxurious and minimalistic. In a sea of ever-emerging Insta-shops, we sought to separate B+P from the pack. From the logo to identity, onto the website and social media, through printed collateral- the style guide remains high end, minimal, and posh. Here is a showcase of their brand & marketing strategy…

Black + Posh Logo

The Black + Posh logo consists of distinct typography. We chose to insert a gold plus symbol in the logo. However, in copy and casual conversation, the ampersand can interchange.

We also registered the trademark with the U.S. Trademark & Patent Office.

The Palette

Black + Posh’s branding style guide is rooted in minimalistic luxury. Abiding by the adage, “less is more.” Excellent use of typography and imagery has been implemented in every aspect of the design. Professional product photography is also key to the brand.

Handpicked Clothing

The company's owner is passionate about fashion. She personally handpicks all pieces sold in the store to ensure that only high-end luxury items are sold.

Everyone can afford it. Although the shop features high-end items, they are quite affordable. This is the core mission of the store.

Black + Posh is committed to top quality and excellence in customer service. This matters more to the company than a sale as it builds consumer trust.

Professional Photography

This isn’t stock photos- it’s custom. And while some shops cut costs utilizing cellphone photography for products, we decided to separate from the pack. We sought the experienced professional photography services of Shooter Society Studios for model & product imagery.

Discounts and deals drove a 1,194% increase in sales during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday season.

We worked closely with the client to ensure automatic discounts applied to customer purchases. We nurtured email campaigns to remind potential customers of sales. Additionally, we crafted social media content across multiple platforms to influence followers to convert to buyers.

Social Media

Social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook are an integral part of the traffic and awareness strategy we designed for Black + Posh. We manage the account, create content, engage with customers, grow followers, and run adverts. However, more importantly, we connect posts to products. No need to click a link in the bio… they are directly attached to posts.
